Can we use iphone touch as mobile phone? (calling people, people calling you)
I think you can do VOIP (Skype etc) but there is no way the iPod touch will function as mobile phone.
If it did, why invent the iPhone?
Edit: I just read that again. iPhone touch? Umm, you've mixed 2 products together. There's an iPod touch and an iPhone.
There is no "iphone touch."
Actually, there are a couple apps you can download that makes your ipod touch a phone. One of which is Truphone. You are required to pay for calls like using a cell, but it does work. Granted, you can only use it via wi-fi, but it gives you a dialer. Now, in order to have someone hear you talk, you'll need headphones/mic connected to the device. But I've tried it and it definitely allows you to make calls.
In case it wasn't clear, that's what VOIP means, as referenced several replies above.
