Usually there is more to a story than just 1 side, try not go by 1 twitter account or opinion, unless ofcourse you were part of evad3rs or working closely with Saurik....

This is directly from sauriks twitter. Why would pod2g know about an updated MS release date more than Saurik would?
Kind of funny that the evasion team were pretty adamant about not having an ETA for the jailbreak but have no problem spewing random timelines for other peoples work just to get people off their backs.

Totally agree. And not to mention that it "wasn't ready" until some chinese company came up and "asked" to have their pirate app put in. Then all of a sudden it was ready and released.

It wasn't ready or else it wouldn't be the mess it is now.
Have some patiences and some faith, those guys have given you the last 3 jailbreaks and were instrumental in 4 others.
Yep those guys are awesome I don't get why all these people criticize them. They didn't have to do a jailbreak for us but they did.
so what do you think is going to happen? What kind of time frame are you anticipating based on your experience?

This only works on evasi0n 1.0.1 because it relies on the feature I had evad3rs add so I could solve this problem "correctly". In that light, it probably does work (it is not "dangerous" as I described the previous ones), but there is still little point in installing it because clearly a new build of Substrate would come out soon using this new feature I got from evad3rs ;P. (Which didn't happen yet as I took Christmas Eve/Day mostly as a holiday.)
(This does, btw, also argue that what I should have had them do is just reactivate launchd.conf... or maybe done that in addition to the rc.d thing... I kind of thought about that a couple days later, wasn't certain if it would work, and didn't have the energy to go back and beg for a different feature. Whatever... the rc.d thing probably needed to be done someday anyway... but maybe I will try to talk to planetbeing today.)"

No. They're going to push an update in Cydia. Saurik also says that in the link TJH posted.

this was literally posted an hour ago. of course its 'more accurate than twitter' in the sense that it just happens to be more recently posted. it doesn't discount anything saurik said on twitter.
regardless, its good that they're actually doing something together, rather than releasing a rogue and useless jailbreak just to try and get prize money. now all you have is a bunch of idiots downloading hacked up 'fixes' and tweaks and then complaining that nothing works.
These people (saurik and the evad3rs team) sound like kids fighting in a sandbox. What a bunch of whiny children, the lot of them.
While I appreciate what they're all doing, surely they could take a minute to reflect... and grow up a bit.
PS, jb is working fine for me thus far. Can't wait till some tweaks get updated but for the most part... it's no biggie. All I really wanted was TetherMe and that's working just fine. The rest is just icing.

well the reality is many jailbreaks of the past were indeed literally done by little kids. just because they happen to be coding geniuses doesn't mean they're still not youngins
look at the guy rewriting gba4ios 2.0...hes like 17 or something and giving talks at universities already.
Just let the man have a Christmas break and enjoy his holidays. I'm sure he'll sort it out when he's back and put us all out of our misery!
The recent post from idownloadblog with Saurik gives no indication of MobileSubstrate update either.
