This is one sweet app if you like to grab podcasts without first connecting to iTunes...
I grabbed my favorite ESPN podcasts right into my Touch...great app!

Yup, definitely. Everyone thought Apple would let you do this....it's a no-brainer. Thankfully we have third-party apps to do what Apple was too lazy to do.

Great to grab the latest podcasts at work before my commute home.

Podcasts are audio or video programs that you can download onto your ipod. Google "podcasts" and you will see thst there are literlly thousands of tjem availabe (they are free) from just about every tv network, magazine, radio show or just regular people (or u can just go to the iTunes Store and look under "podcasts"...

I typed this on my IPT so excuse the errors ;-)

I downloaded the XPlay video podcast with mobilecast but it didn't play the video. It only played the audio portion with the cover art for the podcast on the screen. I looked through the directory and saw that it was an .mp4 file not an mp3.

anyone else have this problem? am I doing something wrong?

go to espn's website and look for the "podcast" tab...there are several video podcasts to download including "Mike and Mike in the Morning"...;)
