Today I set up a MobileMe account. I tried to login afterwards and it said "invalid username or password" so I tried a few more times; I know I was entering the correct information. I went to the iForgot site and entered what I thought was my new .me email for a password reset and it said "does not exist." I then entered the new .me email without the "@me.com" attached and it says my account is locked for 8 hours because of too many failed login attempts. Anyways what upsets me most is that Apple did not send a receipt or any confirmation or anything to my current email address (which they ask for during sign up). Isn't that something I should expect after giving them my credit card information? Like a "Welcome to MobileMe" email? I guess I'll have to wait 8 hours for a password reset then and hope it works. Any advice?
