MobileMe and Calendar 'Alert' syncing?

Ok I did a search but I couldn't find anything so I thought maybe someone might know here.

Where do I add an 'alert' on MobileMe so that my phone lets me know when an event needs to be handled? it's an option in the iPhone's calendar, so why not MobileMe?

I tried putting them on the iPhone instead, but i'm sure they keep getting erased when sync'd to mobile me 😕
