MobileMe Calender Beta (Event Invitations)

I've noticed that when someone on MobileMe sends me (also on MobileMe beta) an event invitation, I get a pushed email as well telling to open calender and check.

I can't see the point in this if I have already gotten a badge and notification alert from the calender app.

I can understand the purpose of this if I wasn't on MobileMe but otherwise its just redundant.

Anyone agree?

redundant in what way? are you saying that you get an event invitation from someone you already share a calendar with?

edit. nevermind, i think i understand what you're saying. and yes it's redundant and it's supposed to be. if you don't want both notifications, can't you turn one or the other off.
