Mobileme for bands? Ideas plzzzz!

I've been thinking about getting mobileme as something my band could use. Would this be a good idea? I think it might be but I could also see it as a glorified myspace.

Think about it, bands could put up music and pictures all for download, and the band could easily keep an email list.

Help me with some ideas on how to maximize mobileme's abilities for musicians!

You need to give more info on what you want to do before anyone can really help you, other then throwing out ideas you may or may not like.

However.. As a band you could basically setup a static web site where visitors can view all of your information. Just can't setup anything interactive like a forum unless you host it elsewhere.

I don't see much point to be honest.

Mobile me comes with other things, that I use and are good...but if you just want a band website "glorified myspace page" buy cheaper hosting and use a free/paid domain name. You can still design the sites (I believe) in iWeb or pay for rapidweaver.

Or you could just use facebook or myspace, which is free 😛
