MobileMe $69.49

MobileMe Family Pack - $109.99

Even cheaper if you buy used. This is a little confusing since you only get a License Key in the box. Not sure what used means in this context.

I noticed that last week and went ahead and bought it. I've been on a free trial for almost four months now (got my first 30-day extension) with two more still to go (got the latest 60-day extension), but I didn't think I'd see it this low again.

Even though they've had their problems, I haven't had any of the really bad ones and things seem to be much smoother now, so I feel pretty confident using it (mainly the iDisk, but also some email) for my freelance work.

Dot mac 5.0 family pack $95 on royaldiscount.com - you can use the activation code for a mobileme upgrade. They raised the price - I got the family pack for $79 just before the 3g launch...

I'd guess it's some form of aggregating unused licenses that are sold in bulk... I dunno what they do specifically, though. A non-MobileMe example I guess would be selling off unused OEM copies of Windows or Office that came with computers. It's probably safe when you use a gateway like Amazon, but you want to be very careful regarding the legitimacy of the seller... especially since it isn't clear how resellers would be getting discounted bulk licensing for MobileMe.

I think they just put it on sale to try to spur better sales. It's back up to $76.99 now. Still a discount but $7 more than I paid just over a week ago. I guess sales have improved...
