MobileMe iCal Sync question

Just got a pop-up saying some 3000+ of my events will be modified if I sync with MM. When I look at the details, there are two events under the 'ADD' heading (which is weird because they are already on my iCal calendar and iPhone). For the 3000+ under the 'MODIFY' heading, the only difference is that for each event, there is an item called 'original date' that lists all events as 12/31/00 7:00 pm US/Eastern on the 'AFTER' tab. That seems to be the only thing that gets modified - is that the new modified event has this 'original date' thing.

Not sure what this means, or what will happen if I sync.

BTW I have not yet upgraded to the new MM calendar, and I don't use the MM interface at all. I use iCal on my desktop, and have MM sync to my iPhone and MacBook.
