A few days ago, I had a weird issue where (I think mobileme) randomly selected old appointments, and made it repeat. Like over 20-30 of em. so instead of trying to figure out what days it screwed up I did the following:
1) PC win7-64bit,outlook 2007.
2) PCLaptop win7-64bit, outlook 2007.
3) Iphone4
#2 wasn't synced since all this damage happened. I unregistered my #1 and #2 in MobileMe. I then connected my #2 with Mobileme and told it to sync all data from laptop to mobileme. It worked. It got rid of all the dups.
I synced my #1 and it does Mobileme calendar setup. It asks me which calendar to sync. All or choose. I only have one calendar so I choose all. Then it tells me Your calendar my already be syned with mobileme and wants me to choose a new name. If I choose a new name "Calendar (From Outlook)" It starts dloading all the the Events from MobileMe, then DONE.
I open outlook and now I have 2 calendars. One labeled "Calendar" and another with all my MobileMe Events labeled "Calendar (From Outlook)".
I can't delete "Calendar" becuase that's thats my main one in outlook. And I can't get MobileMe to combine my outlook calendar and mobileme calandar like my laptop has done. Probably because that one uploaded all the info and didn't need to sync.
I tell mobileme not to sync on the #1. When I checkmark the box to sync calendar and apply, sometimes I get: "First sync alert" and wants me to merge/replace data to or from pc. so I tell it to merge, but that makes outlook create a "Mobileme calendar" or nothing is created in outlook and the calendar doesn't sync but I do get an option next to calendar outlook in mobile me. It wants me to use mobileme as my default outlook calendar. I can check the box, but nothing appears in the default calendar pulldown.
I hope I gave enough info. Please help my sync my 3 devices again.
