MobileMe: Old Version vs New Version?

I saw MobileMe FS on Amazon.com. There were two versions, old and new. Whats available on the newer one, and is it the same MobileMe service that Apple provides through Apple.com?

Even if you buy the old version it will update to the new version. Mine did. If the old version is cheaper go for it.

I think the service is the same no matter what. I mean, if i'm using one of my G4's with Tiger, its still called .mac and I don't see any difference between that and what is on a Leopard or Snow Leopard Mac.

The tag "old version" is another ruse to make customers buy the new one.

There's no other version than the current MobileMe. It's all the same. There's nothing to worry about. Features are all the same. Why can't companies be honest?! 🙄

it doesn't matter it all uses the same code. i got MM family pack for $58 on amazon.com last month. worked perfect!

Yeah, I just bought my "old version" at Amazon.com for $43. The code will renew my existing membership on the date it rolls over.
