I have a problem with MobileMe email. I use Mail as my email app. In the Preferences I have set "all messages and attachments" for copies to be kept for off-line viewing. I have organized my mail into several "Smart Mailboxes" ...
Now about once a month (after a monthly OS update?) all the messages locally disappeare and Mail has to download all of them again. This is a lot of data and takes hours ... If however I hit the "Sync" button in the menu bar, it syncs somehow, but not the email messages, despite the mail item being ticked in the preferences. I have to manually go into every "Smart Mailbox" and click it to initiate the sync process, which only ever manages to sync three "Smart Mailboxes" at one time ...
What is the problem and how can I avoid this to happen?
Maybe a related problem is, that I recently put a password on the public folder of my iDisk, which now seems to have disappeared as well (reverted back to unprotected, but read-only)?
