Mobileme speed on mac vs pc

I've been using the mobileme service since launc and by and large am happy with it.
My main issue is the slow refresh rates on pages when switching from say contacts to mail and photo galleries.
At the moment, I'm using some xp based vista pc's. I hope to shortly begin upgrading to macs, finance permitting. My question is, has anyone found and notably difference in performance of mobileme on mac over pc.

If you have a Mac, chances are you won't be using the MobileMe site often. For example, Mail.app, Address Book, and Calendar sync directly with MM and iPhoto ties directly with the Gallery. Essentially MobileMe is an on-line extension of native Mac apps.

At any rate, I don't think there is much difference accessing MM with Mac or PC. It's all based on the browser.
