MobileMe with a touch

Excuse the newbie question, but my mobileme mail will only push/sync/cloud whatever they're calling it now, to my ipod touch when I'm in areas with wifi. Right? Or no?

Right. If the touch cannot access the internet then it cannot get any new emails etc.
