iPod touch Moblie device problem help

Try what ryan.stewie wrote.

Go to Control Panel and click on Administrative Tools. Open the Services tools and find Apple Mobile Device. Double click and make startup type automatic and click start, if it isn't. Try to see if Itunes gets it now.

If not, go to Control Panel, System and open Device Manager. Under Universal Serial Bus Controllers, uninstall Apple Mobile Device drivers. Then plug your Ipod back in and it'll reinstall.
 
Should i schedule a appointment at apple to see how much to replace the crack and why i cant sync anymore to itunes? Im about to give up . Dang fruit service .

Did you do what Ganxta just said? Go back to the beginning of this thread and read what ryan.stewie said to do. Follow each one of his steps and you'll be back on track. It may sound complicated but its very simple.
 
Well i went to mac genius today and they were big help.......not. First i was like how much would it cost to replace the crack? He said "its cheaper then buying a new one but we dont do it here so let me check".....5 mins later it would cost 140 $ . "No thanks but i have another question ever since i downloaded itunes 8 i cant sync anymore" i even showed him the image of the picture . He said "well we wouldn't know bc your using windows so contact apple care" Ok thanks for your time o yea do u have any new ipod touches ? "Yea but only the 8gb and 32gb" . "Dang it i wanted the 16gb but i might be back later to pick up a 32gb" and so i did.
 
I just found out it saids Do not use the iTunes8Setup or iTunes864Setup file you previously downloaded on the apple support page. Does that mean i should delete it?
