How far does a topic have to drift before posts are considered off-topic?

It's pretty much guaranteed that threads about certain products will devolve in to the same slanging match regardless of starting point or relevance to linked article.

There is no clearly defined line to cross regarding a thread being off topic. When you see a thread that seems that way, report it to us and the moderators will review it. Once we look at it, we may do any of the following, but limited to:

  • Clean up the off topic posts
  • Lock the thread
  • Lock the thread and send it to Wasteland
  • Allow it to continue
Again, when you question a thread, use the Report button. :)
