Modem apps

I've been testing PdaNet and while it works great, I'm wondering if its worth $30 for the very few times I'll need to use it. I then noticed that theres also iPhone Modem in the featured apps in Cydia and doing a search in google bought up iModem - both $10. Anyone tested these other apps?

I was doing the same thing and stumbled across iPhone Modem 2.2.

Has anyone used this?

I haven't used any other tether option other than pdanet, but I like it because it couldn't be any easier to use.
