Not a complaint by any means, but I think that Live threads (esp. during events) should allow for one word replies, and memes (as long as they are offensive) etc. The reason is that Live threads are more of an informal chat of people that are watching the same event.

No.

Or, rather, I respectfully disagree.

Anyway, we have Twitter for those who crave brevity of expression and have the wit to compress it in such a succinct, pithy and delightfully terse manner.

In my experience, one word replies are often mentally lazy, frequently insulting - the sort of insult that is supposed to be amusing but falls far short of wit (often for want of something better, more interesting and more original to say) and most often devolve into one syllable replies, like a sullen teenager at the dinner table.

Let me confer with the mods about this.
