I will be entering into college soon, and i will be picking up a :
15-inch: 2.53GHz
Intel Core i5
4GB Memory
500GB hard drive1
SD card slot
Built-in battery (8-9 hour)2
Intel HD Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with 256MB

I was wondering if i would be able to play Modern Warfare 2 on it, without using bootcamp, and if i would need to use bootcamp what would be the easiest way to do it. I've tryed to do it on my old Mac Desktop and failed.

Thanx in advance for the help

Bootcamp is quite easy to install. You shouldn't have any problem installing it on a new mac.

Run the bootcamp application, install windows and install MW2.

You'd need to perform installations either way but it will perform beautifully on the mac you chose.

Well since their is no mac version of mw2, i will need to install bootcamp.

Can someone give me steps on how install bootcamp and then install windows and mw2 plz. FYI im a nooby at this stuff.

my bad, never paid attention
but save the money and just use bootcamp, it will provide a more satisfying experience

But to install MW2
+boot camp,

go to utilities> run the bootcamp assistant> choose the size of the partition> it will tell you to insert the windows installation disk and click ok(or w/e it's called) > install windows as you normally would > once it's installed, install drivers (there's a bootcamp driver disk that comes with your mac) > put in your MW2 disk and go through the installation process> you are done

make sure to hold the option button during startup (before the apple logo shows) in order to choose between booting into windows or os x

There actually is a MAC version of MW2. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938631&pf_rd_i=507846

I think folks are neglecting to mention that Windows, of course, is not free and will need to be purchased...

Definitely. I have a Core 2 Duo 2.8ghz 9600GT and Modern Warfare 2 runs fine.

Incidentally the games engine (like the crytek engine) is excellent at running at non native resolutions. So you can bump up the detail and knock down the res and you don't get any nasty aliasing.
