Ok, so if you go to http://WWW.FINDMAKAROV.COM it seems to be showing the countdown to the trailer for Modern Warfare 3.

I Print Screened in the middle flash.

Too bad... looking forward to hearing what the next installment will bring.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict whatever the next COD game is, the single-player will have many scripted events, ridiculous and cheap enemy AI, tons of monster-closet encounters, and a terrible over-the-top story. The multiplayer will have copious amounts of unlockables, and will be filled with campers and people trying for stupid trick-shots for their "Awe5um Sniper 'Tage" to put on YouTube.

That is just my guess. Fingers crossed that I'm wrong, but history says I won't be.

I tend to agree with your analysis, though i get the sense you were mocking my original post due to the predictability of the franchises formula over the past 5 years.

Either way, just like Apple products, it's exciting to see what the next iteration is going to bring to the table, even if we already have a good idea of what it might be.

I wasn't mocking you or your preference in games. We all have things that we enjoy. All mocking and humor was directed solely at the COD series. They are somewhat fun games, and I fully admit to playing them for many hours. But sadly "Fresh & Innovative" isn't in Activision's vocabulary.

^^ I definitely agree.

Although the COD series is what I play the most (Started with COD 2, and own every game since then), it does get very repetitive.

In story mode: Go in, kill some people, try to be silent, if not..kill everybody you see, save _____, escort him back.

In online, the maps and guns/perks are the only things that are different. The gameplay is pretty much identical in every COD game.

Nonetheless, I will be getting every new iteration of the COD series, and play it until it gets boring.

For me, the multiplayer in Black Ops really seemed to be a let down, save Wager matches. Hence why I only play Zombies with friends now-a-days. I've been playing so much Zombies lately, I actually had a dream I was in Kino Der Toten last night.

Infinitely Ward should just make couple of map packs for CoD4 instead. All CoDs since that have been disappointments. I went back to it few months ago after playing Black Ops for a week. It's still as amazing as in 2007.

I didn't both to read this, but the company that made the games "Call of Duty" already told everyone that it's fake, and they didn't create it.

By the way, I dont see how ANYONE will spend $60 on a re-skinned version of the same game that's been released 5 times already ;)
