I've edited video in iMovie HD (about 2 hours long) with titles and transitions, then exported to iDVD and added a whole bunch of menus and extras.

I realize now that I forgot to add some stuff in the iMovie. Can I edit the iMovie footage without losing all the work I've already done in iDVD ?

Yes. I always sit and preview my work beforehand before sending it into the hands of our computer.

Yes. When you then open your project in iDVD, you should get a prompt telling you that changes have been made and do you want to update the iDVD Project.
