Hi guys,

A thought occurred to me today..

if i have several pages which i open every time i open up my safari, why am i allowed to have ONLY 1 home page.

Wouldn't it be easier if i set 3/4 home pages.. which would open up in separate windows/tabs when i open Safari, this would save a LOT of time for some people.

I'm not aware of a way to do this, is it possible?

Thanks a lot :)

If you have lion, it will re-open all your previous tabs.

You can sort of "do what you want with pinned sites".

You could do what you want with an applescript I am guessing, but haven't been inclined to figure it out myself (i generally hit a lot of different pages, and don't have a home page or set of pages as such).

how do pinned sites work?

Im running snow leopard, used lion and ML but still prefer snow leopard.
The lion re=opening last used sites is a good feature, but im looking for something that will open the same sites everytime, no matter what layout/sites were being used when the app was closed.

I have no idea with applecripts :(

This MacWorld thread might help. Some interesting solutions.

My favorite:

(1) After creating the folder & checking the "auto-click", go to the "General" tab of Preferences, delete the url on the "Homepage" & leave it blank.
(2) Assign this folder to "New windows open with" --> that means whenever a new window of Safari opens, all the bookmarks in this tab would open automatically since this tab has been set to "auto-click".
