Modifying the Sidebar

I like the Sidebar in 10.5. However, there are times when I accidentally pull something like "Applications," or "Library" off the Sidebar window into a puff of smoke. It's fixable, but...

How can I make it so that that those Finder bar menu items can't be moved - unless I want them to? I use TinkerToy to lend this ability to my Dock, but the Finder Bar items are my main concern now.

Sidebar SUGGESTION!

This is a good suggestion!
I would also like to be able to change the size of the icons and text in the sidebar. Colourcoding would be nice too.

is there anyway to get the sidebar to look like Tiger's?
I was so used to the old one and I really like the big icons

I think Leopard should have been more user friendly on regards of being more desktop/menu customizable, sometimes I think of it as Windows 95 desktop, not much to it...🙄
