OS X Mods without Windows OS?

Hi, I was wondering if I have to buy Windows and do bootcamp/virtual machine to use mods on games like Skyrim?

I'm using MBP (i7; 4GB; 512MB 6750M) with 1920x1200 external monitor.
I only been playing RTS games on the Mac and Xbox for everything else but want to play with mods again.

Depends on the games. If they don’t offer support on the Mac, then the answer is probably going to be yes.

There is a good chance if there is a Mac version of the game, that mods will work on both versions. If you look at a game like Unreal Tournament or World of Warcraft, the game directories were basically identical (or mostly identical) except for the executable and some other minor differences. There are some "automatic" installers out there, and I can't remember than name of the game in particular, but for the Mac version, I had to manually install the mods, which is usually not a big deal, drop a folder into a folder within the game.
