Does anyone know where I can find demo's of Modula-2 compiler? I know there aren't really any good ones for OSX and I know there are some for OS9 which would be fine, but I don't know where to find them and don't want to bother buying one until I see the demo. I triend MACbeth and it was weird, it wouldn't do anything. Thanks.

I realise this is an old thread, but anyway ...

This URL is now outdated, the new home of GNU Modula-2 is at
http://www.nongnu.org/gm2/

Recently some folks seem to have managed to build it on OS X, but neither Carbon nor Cocoa support, also the dependencies are a bit of a pain.

A commercial Modula-2 compiler, called p1, which used to be a plug-in for MPW can now be used on OS X with Carbon. Not sure if I am allowed to post the URL for that here because its is a commercial product, not free, not open sourced, just google for p1 and modula-2.

There is also a project, Objective Modula-2, developing an open source Modula-2 compiler with Cocoa support (and GNUstep for *nix platforms). This looks very interesting but is still work in progress

hope this is useful to someone
