Are you talking about the stub download?
Can I create an USB installer with it?

Download dosdude1's Mojave Patcher here http://dosdude1.com/mojave/
The version MUST be 1.33 !
( This app is for " un-supported" Macs - you don't need it for that ! )
Run the app but ONLY use the app's TOOLS menu to download the FULL 6.05gb Mojave 10.14.6 installer.
Run in TerminalNo, no, no
/usr/bin/open "x-apple.systempreferences:com.apple.preferences.softwareupdate?client=bau&installMajorOSVersion=10.14.6"
There are other methods. I usually use the python script. Very easy to set up in the terminal.I am having the same issue (I cannot download the FULL Mojave 10.14.6 installer (6.04gb.))
but I am on macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G8030)
...
I know, but when download, it's the stub download.
I wanted the full installer to make a USB installer for the laptop at work
I don't know what to do
...
Run in Terminal
It should download the full Install macOS Mojave.app.Code:/usr/bin/open "x-apple.systempreferences:com.apple.preferences.softwareupdate?client=bau&installMajorOSVersion=10.14.6"

You can get that python script (named installinstallmacos) from here - https://github.com/munki/macadmin-scripts
click the green Download button to get the .zip file. Double-click to open that .zip, then read the instruction file. Run the script through your terminal. It will give you several choices. Macs that don't have a T1/T2 chip can use the 18G87 build (which, at the moment is the only 10.14.6 download, so a good choice). That script will get you what you need.
This python script - and the DosDude patcher apps do NOT download the macOS installer from some sketchy site. They both operate in a similar fashion to call for the download direct from Apple's servers. They just use slightly different methods to get to those servers. So, you get the most up-to-date downloads whenever Apple provides them on the download servers.
Sorry, I forgot High Sierra doesn't have software update in Preferences. The command can't work. The code I typed in Terminal, Only opens "System Preferences:
Code:/usr/bin/open "x-apple.systempreferences:com.apple.preferences.softwareupdate?client=bau&installMajorOSVersion=10.14.6"
Using third-party apps to download an operating system is generally a bad idea... . . the dosdude1 Mojave Patcher App . . .?
The last few versions of macOS are not assigned to one's account in the App Store, so they never show as purchased and never show the cloud/download icon. They always show "Get".Your instructions from the first post are incorrect. Get button is visible only if you are not logged into App Store or don't own that version of MacOS.
I can verify dosdude is a hero and his patcher tools are awesome the new Catalina one is a work of art and they are safe as the macOS is downloaded directly from the Apple serversNo, no, no please do not ask me to download anything for a website that only God knows what I am going to download the website connection is not secure (not https://)
I just find out I have an old macOS Mojave 10.14.5 (18F132) USB installer, Do you think I can download the FULL Installer with it?
When I'm signed in, I have the get button; no cloud icon at all. It's this way with 3 different Apple IDs.
Yes, the script is great, however sometimes it doesn't give what you want, e.g. if your Mac model from where you download isn't targeted. Has been happening to me with macOS High Sierra and a dedicated version for a MBP 2018 that didn't download, not even in a VM from a MBP 2015.I usually use the python script
You really could download these? In the past one always has not been able to download an equal or lower macOS than installed. I mean, AFAIK, one could download macOS 10.14.6 from macOS 10.14.5, but not the other way round.Ironically my MacBook5,1(10.14.6) can download Mojave and High Sierra from the App Store without any issues, but unable to download El Capitan.
Using third-party apps to download an operating system is generally a bad idea.
Transmission and HandBrake are made by known developers, but they were hijacked to deliver malware. The same can happen to macOS Mojave Patcher.
Your instructions from the first post are incorrect. Get button is visible only if you are not logged into App Store or don't own that version of MacOS. Otherwise, the button should be a cloud with a downward arrow.
It's recommended to login before downloading an app.

Once you cancel, you will have the full 6gb installer files since the mini installer downloads all required files. It will create a folder titled “macOS install Data” on the root of your primary hard drive.
After you’ve followed those steps, right click the installer that you originally downloaded from the App Store in your Applications directory and you’ll see that its now 6GB instead of the 23mb or 25mb that you get from the App store.
