Is it just me, or did the last public beta ruin eGPU support with the internal display?

I just received my Blackmagic eGPU yesterday, and i had really enjoyed being able to use the raw power of the eGPU, even though I only have an internal display at the moment. I used the set-eGPU tool to enable this, and is has worked like a charm. After updating to the newest public beta last night, it just doesn’t work. If I use Geekbench, I can still choose my eGPU, and run benchmarks on it, but using games and apps just doesn’t do anything to the eGPU.

Has anyone else noticed this as well?

You can a hack script that obviously will break.

There's a new option in Get Info to choose apps to use the eGPU. But if you don't have an external screen it will probably only work for compute apps.

Can you tell me how to do this please?

Have you fixed this yet?

Connect your eGPU, right-click the application that you want to use the eGPU, choose Get Info, check "Prefer external GPU." Then run the application.
