I got Catalina when I bought last year. Anyone can confirm whether it came with Mojave in early deliveries? Thanks

The 2020 Intel MBA was produced and released after Catalina's release in Mid/Late 2019 and as such, Catalina is the earliest OS that can be run on that MacBook Air. Even the very first deliveries of that model would have featured Catalina pre-installed. For a MBA that can run Mojave, you'd need a 2018 model.

Thanks for the info.

No worries. If you have any future concerns of a similar nature I recommend downloading an app form the App Store called Mactracker.

It is essentially a compendium of every Mac / Apple device released so far and it goes in-depth about what the earliest and latest OS's can run on each (among plenty of other things).

Here it confirms that for the Intel 2020 MBA the earliest OS is macOS Catalina 10.15.3.
