12PM PST? Where did you get this from and is it confirmed?

Many, many, many past developer and final releases have happened at 10am PDT. Of course this doesn't guarantee that future releases will also happen at the same time because who knows what might be going on at Apple and hold up any individual release? But there is a definite history of releases occurring at this time so I'd say 10am PDT it is the most likely time, but you can never be certain.

I'm going to wait a couple days for the inevitable bugs to be worked out. Don't want to mess up my work laptop.

There's always bugs no matter what release you install. Mojave has been stable more or less from the start. My 2017 MBP running 10.13.6 has been having issues with the graphic drivers crashing when coming back from sleep. I've heard reports of that being fixed in Mojave.

I have a MacBook pro 15 2015 and a MacBook Air 11 2013 running High Sierra and both having the problem of not rendering a clear pdf in Preview, I hope Mojave has the fix for this.
