iPad Pro Moment of truth - MK has ARRIVED!!

UPDATE!! It’s here!! I posted below with my initial thoughts. Let me just say here though that I don’t think I’ll regret this purchase!

Looks like my MK is out for delivery with UPS today. I’m so anxious to try it!

I will say one thing - no matter how large or small the device, I am not a fan of on-screen keyboards. ?

Amazon just changed my expected delivery date from June 8th to May 28th-June 1st. I am anxious too to try it. I noticed that Amazon has now gone back to stating "out of stock" for the MK. I'm glad I got in my order the few days they were in stock.

I'll be interested to see how you get on: I've finally caved in and ordered one for my 12.9: It won't be here until 10th June though.
I must admit I still find the price mildly jarring but having done a load of research I decided the added functionality it will bring to my iPad justifies the cost

I’ve had mine a few days now and really like it. I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts when you get yours. The keyboard is so satisfying to type on and the trackpad is so smooth and responsive. I know it‘s expensive, but I think anyone that is thinking about it, should at least try it. At the moment that means most people ordering it and using the return window if they decide against it, since most retail stores are closed so we can’t experience it beforehand.

So it’s here! I‘m typing on it right now!!

First impression out of the box is that it’s amazing! I LOVE the look of it, the positioning of the iPP, etc.

Initial impression typing is it feels slightly more cramped to me than the Smart Keyboard for the 11” pro - almost like the keys seem closer together, but I don’t think it’s a game changer. I can type fast - just think it’ll take a little getting used to.

My iPad skin also came today. I immediately put it on the back of the iPP (and I love it), so I’m ready to roll!!

I am loving how good the space gray pad looks with the keyboard - glad I accidentally ordered that color. I LOVE how my skin for my iPad has the gray so it can pick up the gray from the edges also. Dang I’m excited about this setup!

i’ve had mine since day 5 of the initial release. My problem now that I’ve learnt the gestures and keyboard commands is when not to use it. BTW in using spark as my email on the iPad Pro (till issues with mail are fixed) and the MK is great better than using mail, I might not go back to mail. Latest update really integrates keyboard and track pad an commands.

From what I have seen there is a delay at getting them directly from Apple as well, they are currently stating 11th-18th of June on the U.K website. I wonder if it's because they are selling really well, or maybe it's also because of COVID-19 and production issues.

Yeah I’ve already been trying to think of all the things I need to type so I can use it! ;-p

I really was a little concerned about the way the keys would feel to me, because I have always really loved the feel of the ASK and SKF. This is different, but definitely not a disappointment at all.

Also, though I have always despised trying to use trackpads, I love how I can use the gestures on this one. I only hope it doesn’t keep me from using my iPP in my lap just because I want to be playing with the keyboard.
