Did anybody notice the mention of momentum scrolling on Apple's page for the new MBPs? It says their trackpads support this which is a nice feature of the Magic Mouse. I hope last year's MBP models get this eventually. I doubt there is a hardware difference that would prevent that but knowing Apple...well, I'll try to stay positive for now!

Thanks spinnerlys. Yeah, I said momentum instead of inertial but you get the idea. Nice feature and I'd really like it on my previous model MBP 13.

I assume this will come to the last generation, considering there's almost certainly no hardware change for this.

Edit: I'm assuming if this does come to other stuff we might see the juicy update to the Magic Mouse that's been needed since Day 1.

+1 for this. I have been spoiled by my Magic Mouse, iPhone and iPad.
