My stock Hitachi 5400rpm drive on my '11 MBP 13" reads/writes at 56MB/s.

For some reason AJA System Test won't run on my old '08 Alu MB 13". So I can't really benchmark that Toshiba 5400rpm drive.

Those Fujitsu read/write speeds are quite great!

hmm, try install using the DMG file instead.

Switch to ssd... It's a whole new coputational experience
