Now, I know that hard drives don't significantly impact gaming performance, but I have read some reviews on newegg.com saying that the hard drive overheats and reboots while doing anything intensive, such as gaming. Can anybody confirm this? Cuz I'm a casual gamer and I'm planning to get an XT for my MacBook pro.

I don't see how the hard drive would heat up playing games

I have an XT in my MacBook Pro here, and that doesn't happen. I play quite a bit, both at work and at home.

The MBP heats up yes, but the MBP runs hot anyways, and it was 92 degrees out today so even more so.

Load times are almost instand though, it's nice.
