You need an ADC to DVI adapter that also supplies Power. The ADC to DVI only (i.e. cheap) adapter will not work as that is for hooking a standard DVI monitor to a Mac Pro with ADC outputs.

Here's what you need:

At this point, it is cheaper just to buy a new monitor and will be much bigger unless you can find a used ADC to DVI adapter somewhere. Further then you will need a DVI to Mini Displayport Adapter as well, but those can be found for fairly reasonable prices (like $10).

Do I want a male like: http://www.yoursourcedirect.com/item?lid=29244302&source=Vendio:Google%20Product%20Search
or a female like: http://www.altiuscart.com/mini-displayport-to-dvi-adapter-54248?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=Shopping&utm_campaign=MobileAccessories

Thanks!
