Monitor Arm for a THICK desk

My Desk is a walnut - 5" THICK. I know most of the monitor arms are around 2 1/2" in the mount opening.
Has anyone seen anything that may fit. The only other thing I can think would be a pedestal mount that would work , but then I might as well just use the stock stand

I don't know of any. You could consider modifying one but there are engineering aspects to consider (such as a longer bolt of the same size would bend more).

I suppose you've ruled out a wall mounted one.

Just get a bolt through stand. Replace the mounting bolt with a longer bolt or use a coupling nut and add another shaft.
