i need to buy a 2nd lcd monitor. i currently have a hyundai l90d+, 13 months now. anyway, i know prices have come down, but what about quality? what would some of you recomend? i'd like to stay around the 19inch mark and spend about $150 to $230. is this possible these days? also, i'd like it macbook compatible. i'll be buying a macbook soon.

thanks

Any monitor would be a compatible with the MacBook as long as it is a VGA or DVI input. Of course you still need to buy an adapter though

As for your price range, you could definitely get a 19'' monitor for that amount. For 200 bucks you can get a Dell 19'' LCD monitor. If you get on newegg.com, you can probably get 19'' screens by companies that only god knows for a bit cheaper.

I would personally go the Dell path because Dell's customer service is superb. For me, I had one dead pixel and said I wanted to return because of it and they said they would replace it if I didnt return it :)
