I have a Microfibre cloth, but looking for some harmful cleaning product to clean the glass & body on my iMac as well as my iPhone with other peripherals. I have regular window cleaner, but I'm afraid it may be too harsh for the computer. What do you guys use?

I remember a few years back, you could buy a really beautiful (over priced :p) cleaning kit from Apple's online store, but for whatever reason, it's been discontinued. Would be neat if it was still around. Does anyone remember it?

Ben.

How about a product that ISN'T harmful. :D
I have used iKlear for years. Works very well.

I’ll snap a picture of what I use later. Just posting this so I don’t loose this thread. I think it’s made by 3M.

I use it on everything:
Laptop screens (both LCD and glass, keyboards, and top surfaces of laptops. Does wonders on white Apple alu keyboards.

Spray on a soft lint free cloth and wipe away.

3M Anti-Static Electronic Equipment Cleaner, CL600

More than happy to pay that price. Only issue is, they don't stock it in the UK! :(

I have a LED monitor on my ultimate man cave and i think it already needs cleaning. Can anyone post a picture of the product you have been using?

I use Rogge. Chances are it is approved by the maker of at least several of the displays in your home.

I also use a 3M cleaning cloth...I try to only clean displays, watches, and lenses with textured cloths like this given the texture means smaller particles can position themselves inside the ridges rather than being forced up against the finish and scratching it. With a smooth cloth, smaller particles that can cause scratches are forced up against the finish. I first learned the importance of this from waxing cars.

I use both of these on my Breitling with a double AR sapphire crystal. While the sapphire glass is incredibly hard, the exterior AR coating is insanely delicate (I would argue equally as delicate as the coating on the MBPs.) Good results all-around.
