Monitor for around ~$300 for FCP ??

Hello,

I need a new monitor for around $300 to use for video editing with Final Cut Pro.

Anyone have any insight or recommendations?

I would also really appreciate it if you know where I could get the monitor in Canada for a good price.

A 1680x1050 22" Widescreen for $269... How could you go wrong?

Personally i will be getting the 24" from them once i get the $$

everything will look big on that if you have it next to an apple monitor.

my 17" mbp is the same res, but smaller, so by comparison everything would look bloated on that screen. just fyi.

It would be beside a Mac G5 with I think either the 20" or 23" Display, would that still apply?

More thoughts and recommendations appreciated.
