Monitor help for my new bootcamp/ windows install.

Okay i have finally bit the bullet and decided to get windows 7 on my mac pro. I am running the pro with windows 7 pro on a separate hdd in bay 1 and it rns pretty well but it says my monitor is using a vga connection. I have one cable from the mac pro to the monitor and it is a dvi. so I am a bit confused.. I have a 5870 graphics card hooked up

I think it means you are using the VGA drivers. Have you installed the bootcamp Windows drivers yet? That should do it.
