My 5 year old daughter has found this wonderful site called Netflix and constantly watches it at home on the iPad, computer, iPhone, whatever she can get her hands on.

Until recently, I didn't know I had a cap on internet usage but have gotten warnings over the past two months. AND, I NEVER thought I would use anywhere close to 50GB per month.

What's the best option to monitor, by site, my monthly bandwidth for ALL devices (on my external IP address) on my home network?

I don't know, but you should ask your ISP how you are meant to check your usage.
They may have software in the router/modem, if they supplied it, or on a control panel website for your account.

I'm using a Apple Airport Exterme so I don't think I can monitor from there. And I don't believe there is anything I can install on my Motorola cable modem router.

The app Netuse Traffic Monitor will monitor total traffic over your router, but not by site. I can't think of anything outside of expensive, commercial router products that would monitor by site.
