iPad mini monitoring childrens activity on ipad

Folks, I am looking for some type of program to monitor but mainly cut out any apps, games or websites that is not suitable for a young child.
can anyone recommend anything?

You can lock down some stuff using the parental controls. I would start there and see what it will and won't do compared to your needs.

I agree. I extensively used Restrictions to make my daughters' (8 & 5 years old) iPads safe (to my satisfaction) for them to use.

I am really pleased with how much and how well everything can be locked down.

I also created a Netflix profile for each one, which restricts what they can watch.
