Recently I wanted to pick up some beats, but the $200 price tag is just too demanding. I decided to pick them up form Monstercable.com's refurbished/outlet store, a great deal by the way, $100 off. Anyway I ordered these on New Year's Day Night, and got an email that night shortly after saying my order was processed and will be shipped soon. I had chosen the fastest shipping method, which was next day shipping, no information was ever provided to me of who they were shipping it through nor have I seen any confirmation of my order even being shipped. They say you can track your order online, which I did and it has said payment received and order processed for the past 3 days.

My question to you is what do you think of this BS so far and more importantly, has anyone else ordered from the Monster outlet store? And if so, when you went to "track" your order through their site, did they ever confirm that your package has been shipped?

Why do you want the beats? You can get far better headphones for much less money.

Honestly don't bring up this **** here, if you can't help on the question asked then no need to answer. I researched my decision and this is the product I want and ORDERED, save your thoughts for when asked.

Why are you so vile? He's trying to be helpful.

they really aren't that good. i own them. now all the dudes walk around on the b ball team wearing them and we all know they're only there because they can play ball not make smart decisions.

The response was a bot reply that shoots out every time someone orders...and I'm betting the program is automated to show the order is being processed.

I suspect that they just missed the order because of the time frame you ordered them in. I'd get them on the phone (1 877 800-8989) and ask them to refund the shipping costs and then ship them overnight to you.

They guarantee satisfaction - and it sure sounds like you aren't satisfied.

The only thing that I think may have slowed down the process is the fact that it was from their outlet/refurbished store. If they don't show up tomorrow I will call, although I have already sent an email to their support team last with no response yet.

You'll always get free advice even when you didn't ask for it. That is especially since you are not the only one reading it, many more people are. And they need to be told that the headphones you are trying to buy are vastly overpriced, while "monster" cables are just off the chart for being overpriced.

They ARE overpriced for their sound quality. I made my decision based on the good looking design and decent sound quality. Pretty much the only genre I listen to is hip hop and rap and these headphones were made specifically for those genres. I did receive my tracking number last night(technically this morning) and they will be here by this afternoon.

Anything "monster" is over priced. Buddy of mine works at Best Buy. Most of his commission is based off of people buying Monster Cables. He gets the employee discount on them, and it costs him less than 30% of the rack cost which I believe the employee discount is cost + 10%. So that $100 monster cable costs retailers about 25. And even at 25 it is still wayyy to expensive in my book.

Further, any decent headphone review site basically calls Beats headphones over priced, and over bassed. If all you listen to is hip hop, enjoy your headphones, but the rest of the word prefers headphones that sound good.

Well I do listen to rap and hip hop almost exclusively so I am happy with these headphones.

If you paid for next day shipping, you should have gotten them by the 4th, at the latest, provided they were in stock. Even if they weren't open for business on the 2nd, they should have been open on the 3rd. Should have shipped on the 3rd and gotten to you on the 4th.

I would demand that they refund your shipping costs since you did not get what you paid for.

Personally, I'd have been pissed when they didn't arrive on the 3rd.

I know this thread is pretty much done, but I think some people will continue to stumble upon it, so here's my opinion.. I believe it's quite annoying that people keep telling others who want Beats that they're not good enough, overpriced, etc... you know, maybe they are overpriced for the sound they may deliver (although it is in no way bad at all), but some people also like to pay for the quality of the craftsmanship, looks, design, maybe even for the brand name or the cool factor.. People are always telling me Apple products are overpriced and overrated, that my designer jeans are not worth what I paid for them, etc.. But hey! It's my hard earned money, and I think I should be able to spend it however I please without people telling me that I could have gotten better things for what I spent.. When somebody asks "what are my best options for X amount of $$" or "which gives me the best bang for my buck?" , then I would like to see their opinion... anyways, just my 2 cents, CHEERS! :D
