They're online only bank accounts. They give you instant notifications whenever you buy something, which is their main selling point and their apps are miles ahead of 'normal' bank account apps. Just makes it so much easier to keep an eye on your finances.

I use Monzo. It's great, for the reasons you outline in post #3.
I do pretty much all my day-to-day spending from it.

When starling cap all the withdrawals like Monzo then it's just another internet bank.
