I stopped buying mophie products, I have had such a high failure rate from them.

I haven't had a single product from them last more than 4 - 6 months.

Seriously? I've been using them since the iPod touch 1st gen days and never have had an issue.

I've had their juice pack cases for my 1st gen touch, 3GS, 4S, 5S, and a power station.

I tried an Incipio one for the iPhone 6 and it broke in a couple of months. I gave the replacement unit Incipio sent me to my wife and went back to Mophie.

I like the dock, but I wish it was shorter. I still like the look and design of the Nomad the best.

Yep, I had them replace 1 .. the others weren't under warranty because its only 90 days. After the 4th one failed I am done with them.

I hope you warranty replaced them all.

I was told 90 days and most failed shortly after that period

Wow, my experiences have been the compete opposite- not one failure in nearly 8 years.

What I don't like most about docks like these is there's no cable included.

Seems overpriced when you have to use your own cable.

true thats my budget is set at 20 - 30 max since i have to spend another 20-30 for cable extra set.

real bad code for space pack

I just purchased a new Mophie Space pack today for a new 5s/32.

I was able to charge it fully with the Apple wall plug and mophie USB cord with the space pack off the iPhone.

The USB cord mophie has, will not charge iPhone or Space pack on the iMac (OS 10.10.3 now). I also can not access the space pack while the USB cord is plugged in to the space pack, it says 'disconnected'.

A Space Pack desk top icon comes on the iMac when it is plugged in, also I can remove and install apps through the USB cord as well as updates to the iPhone from iTunes. Even though it says 'disconnected'

However there is no way to get music into it, nor anything else on the imac into the space pack right now or the reverse.

Good manufacture, good hardware, real nice to have ... except I don't know if any of it works.

No idea if the power will transfer over to the iphone and charge it up ... the Space App is pretty much useless for everything in just 12 hours of having it around and efforting to make something work.

Every time I plug in the USB cord, the space pack gets disconnected. Unplug it and then the space pack appears for use ... it is empty of course.

I have a Support ticket into Mophie and see if they respond .. but for right now ... the Space App at iTunes for iPhone download ... it is worthless and yes I know it is free. But for the price of a new space pack on the 5s ... so far ... business fraud are the words I want to use.

Not purposeful fraud, I don't think they are aware nothing works now on the iPhone 5s with the new updates Apple as out on the iOS and the iMac.

Just fraud by ignorance and neglect ...

Hope they fix the software ... I am sure it is not the hardware.

I got 4 lights full charge on the wall plug with the space pack off the iphone with their unique USB cord .. that seems so odious, misplaced and a clear example of poor judgment to have as a requirement for operation.

The Apple lightening USB cord set up ... is what ... a problem some how.

If there is no help for this ... I will never buy Mophie again for anything.

Apple loves them and has them at the Store on the racks ... giving the impression they are good products to use with the Apple products.

I have to say NO NO NO to that picture from what I have in my hands.

I got the mophie cable and it is not the lightening cable jack that works so well on everything that has a USB port on it.

I plug my space pack and the mophie cable into the Kenwood car audio for driving tunes ... and it doesn't work for spit.

I want to use my iPhone in the car .. have to unpack it and damage it about to make it work with externals ... hell today the mophie cable doesn't even work with my iMac.

No charge, no connection, no space pack ... but it is plug into the USB chain and I have a Space Pack icon on the desktop.

If your watch dock do NOT have an Apple lightening cable port ... don't buy it as the special USB cable eventually stop working with the upgrades to the Apple software.

:(:(:(

I know you guys like the docks so understand this is just me asking a question. Why the need for a dock? They make docks for phones and pads, do you guys have those too? I'm curious really. I was planning to just lay the watch down on the charger but I have seen so many posts on docks I'm wondering now if I need one too.

I don't find it necessary either. Accessory companies know that when there's an Apple product, there are millions that will purchase them and that means there's a market for overpriced accessories.

Attaching the charger and laying it on a microfiber cloth will work just fine for me.
