Any chances for those of you that have received your Mophie, are using it with a Speigen GlastR or Bodyguardz pure glass on the screen? Looks like that YouTube reviewer is. I'm just hoping it doesn't interfere with case.

I'm currently using the Mophie Helium with a GlastR and its perfect. However, because of the thickness of the GlastR there isn't the "lay on table" protection anymore. The GlastR is flush with the Mophie Helium.

Thanks for that. FedEx just showed up and all's good! Yay!
It does fit fine with BG Pure. Nice case, I like it! :)
No issue with charge like the reviewer's case is doing.

Did you notice if yours shows the fully charged symbol for a split second when you flip the switch? Thanks

Yes, mine does show a fully charged signal for a split second then changes to a charge symbol.

Thanks. Not sure what that means. Prob nothing but just wanted to know if i was the only one.

I used mine last night with the apple headphones without the extender. just push it in there it'll reach fine.

Got mine today was not aware that it required an extension for the earbuds.. Not as thin as I thought it would be but I still like it.

The specs are posted on the web site.

That's what I like about Mophie, they provide every last detail so there's no surprises.

This is my third. The ones I bought for my iPhone 4 & 4s models delivered unbelievable life considering the thousands of charge cycles I put the through.

They just keep getting better. The finish on the iPhone 5 model is both beautiful & very durable.

Been using mine for a couple of days.

Overall it is fine though I have come to the realization that I not only hate the buttons on the iPhone 5 (they are too small) but the power button is a little too deep for my liking. Covered buttons would have made this case perfect even if it made it ever so slightly heavier.

While I preferred the Juice Pack Plus for the iPhone 4, the original Juice Pack Air didn't have the buttons this recessed as I used that case for a solid 5 months.

The headphone jack, while deep, does guide in straight headphone cables pretty easy. It isn't a problem for me and the extension provided is long enough to be useful yet short enough to be discrete.

I like the case overall and for battery issues I experience on heavy days it will suffice but honestly I expected a little more from Mophie. Especially with the delays.

Mophie AC Options

Saw this video on YouTube this morning which addresses a fit and finish issue of the new Mophie Helium.

http://youtu.be/-ZAeisTcmc0

Curious to know if the case you received is experiencing the same issue. Mine is due to arrive Monday and am a bit concerned that mine will.

Any observations you have and can share would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Received my Helium yesterday and was relieved that fit and finish is good. Not suffering from any of the issues the YouTube reviewer had.

Curious to know if anyone is using an AC adapter with the USB > Micro cable? I'd like to use my iPad wall adapter, but not sure if I'll fry it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Should definitely be fine just remember this case charges 2 batteries the case and the phone at the same time, so won't be super fast if you did it wo the case and the 10watt

Do any you guys have this problem with your Helium on my iPhone 5. After maybe 1-2 hours of not using the phone, the case will go to sleep.
Until I hit the LED light button. Then it wakes up.

Ok I think I am on to something but call me crazy. After watching the video where the guy snaps on his iPhone and then looking at the fit description on Apple's website saying snap on I have come to the realization that this was done on purpose by Mophie. They used to have a separate model for Apple stores. Now I believe that you can both slide and snap the case in. I also think that is why the fit is not necessarily perfect. When I owned an Apple Mophie, as opposed to the standard version, I remember that the Apple fit was a bit off. Anyone?

What do you mean by the case will go to sleep? The LED lights are designed to stay off even when you are charging, which is nice! They only come on upon initial charge plug in. If you need to check battery level and status, simply press the button.

I know what you are talking about but I'm not sure I understand your point? I would never snap it in like that guy did in the video but to each their own. I would think it doesn't matter how you choose to fit your iPhone in this case, once you slip the end cap on, it should fit tight and evenly regardless.

I would not snap it in as well. My point is that I think Mophie made this case to function in that manner. For the 4/4s cases they needed to make different versions for Apple because they do not sell any cases that "slide" on. If this is true, good for Mophie. Also may be part of the reason the certification took so long.

Yes, I agree with the requirements that Apple has to sell cases that snap on. I hated that Mophie version they made for them for the 4. That was such junk. I don't think that was the cause of the delays though. I believe that is with the lightening spec's and certification process.

Not the greatest pic, thanks to the iPad 2 camera but I had the same concerns and quite frankly the gun metal finish looks great with the white iPhone. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1361559357.218301.jpg

Well it's definitely not an everyday case obviously. Very difficult to type and surf. Adds alot of expected weight. It's only for when you know you will need it on the go but man this thing is just too awkward and long to type and use. And I have big hands.

Not sure if I will keep it or not. Sorta bummed out that the ergonomics just don't jive at all. Phone is just way too freakin long with this case on it.
