Hello,

I have a Mophie Juice Pack Air which supports wireless charging. So does my iPhone SE 2020.

I haven't tried it - but since bot the case and the iPhone have wireless charging induction coils - is it possible to use wireless charging without any side effects since the iphone as well as the case might pick up the wireless charge at the same time?

Thanks,

Alex

I would assume(bad idea I know) that you are talking about a battery case. If this is correct, likely, the internals of “case” will not allow the iphones coils to register a wireless charger because of interference. In addition, it is also likely that the thickness of the case will cause the iphones coils to not register the wireless charger through the case because of thickness. These are very much oversimplified explanations and I am certain someone will correct me if i am wrong.

yes exactly, it's a battery case.

Since mophie advertises the case on the homepage as SE / 8 / 7, I guess it should work. They know that the SE and I think the 8 as well have wireless charging built in.

Yes, I got the Mophie for the 8 and it works on my SE2020. The case charges the SE2020 through the lightning port, and the case can be charged with a Micro USB or wirelessly.

Thanks compwiz1202.

Well'see how it performs. I'm already fed up, hanging on the 8w standard apple charger yesterday for around 6 hours, but the last digit is still blinking.

Today connected it again for a few hours - still the last digit is blinking. It should be full by now twice.

Connected it to the iPad charger to see. I'm so close to be fed up with the Juice Pack Air.

Would have sent it back to Amazon if I would have found 1 decent alternative. On the iphone 6 I used to have an Otterbox battery case which was great. Unfortunately no longer availabe.

And then there's the microUSB, the type of connection which I always had issues with in general. So fragile. For the price of the Mophie Juice Pack I would have expected lightning and no else.

Maybe I'll check out the apple iphone 7 charging case. Even tough I don't like that it constantly keeps the iphone on charge - might have an effect on battery longevity.
