i found a juice pack but it was missing the top part does it still work? also I need the usb cable to charge it i dont want to spend more than 6 bucks on it..

kinda but the phone still stays in there without falling since its hooked to the little adapter thing at the bottom

Yes it still works without the top part. Its just an aesthetic with a lil bit of retention to finish the look off.
