If you need a battery like that maybe you need to put the phone down for a little while and go enjoy nature or something.

No model for regular 17? Or theoretically would one have to use case for 17 Pro since they’re the same size?

I don't get it: a battery is like 2 or 3 mm thick. Add a 1mm layer on top of it, that makes four.
How the hell do they design these to reach the size in the picture is beyond my understanding.

I enjoyed the Smart Battery Case with the 11Pro. It could be wirelessly charged too. A shame we’re missing this in the MagSafe Era.

This is so dumb, why get a skinny phone with terrible battery only to add it later as an add on and turn it even chubbier than the iPhone Pro Max!?

Get it together people!

The same battery inside Air is in the MagSafe pack, but according to Apple, it adds “up to 65%” capacity. So, efficiency of wireless chargers is still lacking.
Over all though, battery case and battery pack —wireless or otherwise— each have their perks.

At festivals, for example, I don’t wanna lose the MagSafe pack because someone bumps into me, and also don’t wanna deal with cables either. Battery case is the way to go.

How about a quadlock/ speck click lock / magsafe hybrid battery pack - a hybrid quadlock+speck click lock +magsafe case could even have direct contact energy pins / pogo pins integrated in to where the quadlock / speck click lock connects, with a ribbon cable integrated into the case channeling the energy directly up into the phones USBC port. Then the battery itself could be snapped on like magsafe, but secured with quadlock or speck click lock - safe from bumps and force - and no cables but still have the same charging speed as USBC + backwards compatible with magsafe

The oldest iPhone they sell these for is the iPhone 15, which doesn't make sense. It's the older phones with batteries that are becoming marginal that could really benefit from these.
So true. My wife charges her iPhone 13 mini twice a day. I need to have a battery swap done on it before it’s obsolete. She claims she’s taking it to the grave unless Apple makes another mini. Idk why Apple makes crap that nobody wants like the Air, and yet I know so many people waiting for a new mini, cash in hand, screaming “Take my money!”

Sounds nice. But I won’t hold my breath 😂
