so still no difference from the current one out
This one charges 10w as the old one charges 7.5W. I purchased the old one from Walmart last week and returned it yesterday and purchased the new one for the same money.
Now with the new one if Apple updates the software to charge 10W my new version will fast charge...

I bought a RAV charger that does literally the exact same thing (7.5W charging) for $30 a month or 2 ago.

This....is funny? Though perhaps the joke is on me for paying an extra $10-15 for have the capability to charge from 5W to 7.5, which is hardly noticeable.

If I had to do it all over again, I'd get the $15 one off Amazon.

Really think about this, if you're truly spending 45 extra dollars so that you can charge 2 seconds faster, something literally no one will notice, then I have a overcoat in the Sahara to sell you.

Apple could increase the charging capacity to 10w with a software update... so it could be beneficial
Yes but we can live with (maybe safer and reliable) 7.5W always better than 5w. Also most times it is used in bedroom for night charges... so....

60 bucks and it still uses microUSB?! No, thanks.
Exactly! I have the current model for the simply reason it doesn’t have a micro usb cable.
The capable they use in the 7.5w version is very secure.

For one, I keep my Qi pad on my nightstand. If the charger was a stand, my phone would light up in my face every time I got a notification.

No thanks!

OK depends on each use case, great for when I have it on my work desk. I usually put my phone on Do Not Disturb mode when I sleep, so that the iPhone light doesn't both me.
