Well, I took the risk and bought one. So far, very happy. It has a good grip to it and they were smart enough to keep the top and top of the sides open so that I could access the buttons on my phone. I was in a bar last night and this thing was charging itself pretty well from just the bar lights. Since I wasn't using the phone, I was fully charged. Saw a guy there who ran out of juice. I gave him this thing and it completely recharged his phone in 45 minutes. So I saw it for myself and beachbomber's claim appears to actually be true. Built in light is pretty bright. So far, it's perfect for me. I wonder why they don't advertise or sell this in stores??

BabyBlip how thick is it altogether? And if you're not in a place with light, am I right in assuming you can charge the case through the USB? So in a sense you can wall charge it and THEN use light sources to charge it?

It's not too bad. But often, you don't even need to put the phone into it unless the phone needs recharging. I've been keeping this separate from the phone and slip the phone in only when it needs it

Yes a mini USB, but it also charges with indoor light as well. Don't know how they did that. But at night, you'd want to plug this into an outlet via USB. But so far, I haven't even needed to charge it at night. And don't ask me how, but this thing will charge your phone faster than a wall socket, and they claim that it never charges your phone too fast where it would damage the battery. Again, I don't know how, but I did charge someone else's phone in a bar in 45 mins. The guy bought me two rounds of drinks
